Simple Whimsical Christmas Card

Hello my crafty friends.  I am busy creating christmas cards these past few days.  Today, I am sharing one of the card I made.  I love whimsical arts and this card is my very first attempt to create something whimsical :)

The key to this card is Simon Says Stamp's beautiful and whimsical Christmas Tree die.  I used this die and a piece of mediterranean deep green sparkle card stock to die cut the frame of the christmas tree.  After gluing the die cut piece on a piece of pearlescent card stock, I used Copic markers to colour the inside of the tree.  I also used the Y00 to go around the outside of the tree too.

The image penal is popped up using a piece of white craft foam, and was adhered on to a plain mediterranean green card stock.  I also used My Favourite Things stitched border die to decorate the green borders.

The stylish sentiment is from Mama Elephant and was stamped using Hero Arts Black ink.

All products used, except the Mediterranean deep green sparkly card stock I got from Micheal's, are listed below.  Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will have fun creating :)

Merry Christmas and A Bear Hug!

Hello my crafty friends.  I finally got my winter card making goodies in and I used many of them in my first card.  Some of these new goodies aren't brand new designs but they are new to me!

The super cute image from Wplus9 was coloured using Copic markers.  While the "Merry" sentiment is from Mama Elephant's die, the "christmas" sentiment is from Purple Onion Designs.

Since I liked the image to be on the side instead of in the middle for this card, I used a couple little snowflakes from MFT's snowflake dies to decorate the empty space.

The background was done using a stencil and ink.  That's it, very simple but fun to make :)

All the other supplies are listed below.  Thank you for stopping by, I hope you have a fun and creative day!
